Southern California Payroll Focus Day is a joint effort of the Southern California Chapters of the American Payroll Association. The APA is an organization dedicated to increasing the payroll professional’s level of skill through education, and recognizing the payroll responsibilities in today’s business and legislative environments as a professional discipline.

So Cal Payroll Focus Day is an annual event designed for the ongoing education of payroll professionals and specifically addresses the CEU/RCH requirements for the CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation. All payroll practitioners, as well as professionals in related business areas such as Human Resources and Accounting, are welcome to attend in order to gain further knowledge of payroll best practices, payroll tax and regulations updates, payroll technology and services, and career advice.

The Focus Day event features a vendor fair, highlighting technologies and services that support the payroll functions and enhance the working world of payroll. Vendors are invited to view our website and agenda to consider being a part of our vendor fair. Any questions can be sent to the Vendor Committee through this website.
